Rregistrations for the opening is scheduled to begin in autumn 2025, along with the publication of all important information. Until then, you can refer to the procedure from the previous ball as a guide.

Registration
The registration for the opening takes place via Vienna’s dance schools’ website. (Page in German)
For the upcoming ball night we will hold an audition, two rehearsals, a set rehearsal and a dress rehearsal.
You will receive further information via e-mail from the following contact persons:
Auditioning and each rehearsal has mandatory attendance.
Auditions
Date: 14. December 2024 (Saturday), between 10:00 AM and 12:00 AM
Place: Verein Förderung des Lebensmittelgewerbes, Florianigasse 13, 1080 Vienna (please take dancing shoes with you)
Requirements:
Mandatory: Natural (right) waltz with half turns
We happily welcome pairs who have reverse (left) waltz and/or Fleckerlwaltz experience
At the audition we will divide the pairs into two groups for the rehearsals.
DRESS CODE
Auditions / rehearsals: Ladies: black skirt and white blouse (one is requested to bring their dance shoes with heels). Gentlemen: black trousers and white shirt; dance shoes
Ball Evening (including dress rehearsal): Ladies: white floor-length evening dress, white gloves and white or silver shoes (with heels). Gentlemen: black tuxedo / suit, white shirt, black bow tie, white gloves and black shoes.
Ladies dress code after the opening: floor-length evening dress (no short or Cocktail dress)
Rehearsals
Two additional rehearsals will take place for the opening of the 122. ZuckerBäckerball. The dress code from the auditions applies also to the rehearsals.
EACH REHERSAL has mandatory attendance.
